Home Secretary may ban anti-Islam pastor from entering the UK

It has always been a crucial question…. should we ban people from entering the country? Who should we ban? Does banning someone affect the image of the country? Does allowing someone into the country also affect the image?

Well, the Home Secretary Theresa May may ban the U.S. pastor who threatened to burn the Koran on the 9/11 anniversary from visiting Britain.

Pastor Terry Jones is hoping to attend an English Defence League rally in February so he can speak out against Islamic extremism.

He has insisted that he is not anti-Muslim but the Home Secretary said she was still looking to ban him.

The EDL, a far-right movement who have held demonstrations across the country, have invited the pastor to their rally in Luton, Bedfordshire.

The event is being billed as ‘our biggest ever’ by the controversial organisation.
The pastor said that he will be speaking about religious integration.
