GALA EVENING FOR YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS ON THE HORIZON

Filed under: Uncategorized — richardswancott @ 5:00 pm

Well what a busy time we’ve had! It’s been a great first quarter of the year, with us picking up new contracts, pitching for new business, generating great coverage for clients and helping to organise fab events like Action for Business Live at the Moat House last month.

Our feet have barely touched the ground!

We don’t have much time to draw breath though as we have another big event on the horizon – the Young Enterprise North Staffordshire Area Finals, at Alton Towers on April 23rd (6pm-9pm).

We have 14 teams from schools and colleges across the region presenting on their experiences of running their own businesses for the best part of a year.

An audience of 250 local dignitaries, business people and YE volunteers will hear how they’ve done with their product development, marketing, HR and most importantly sales, before our team of distinguished judges decide who has been the Company of the Year.

Whoever wins the prestigious title will represent North Staffs at the County Finals in May.

So good luck to our teams from Wolstanton High, the Sir Stanley Matthews Academy, Westwood College, Haywood Engineering College, Newcastle-under-Lyme School, Brownhills, Blackfriars and the Cheadle Academy!

May the best team win!

*There are still places available should you want to come along and see our young entrepreneurs in action. It’s a free event and we will be providing a buffet and refreshments. Call 07880 733138 for more information.
