ACTION FOR BUSINESS UPDATE & INTERVIEW DAY #2

We’ve been busy organising the next Staffordshire Marketing Academy event, Action for Business Live 4, and have some exciting news about our line-up!

Topping the bill will be a sensational speaker called Robert Craven. Described as ‘The entrepreneurship guru’ by the Financial Times (not The PR Guru – that’s taken), and ‘truly inspirational’ by The Independent, Robert is a best-selling author and sought after keynote speaker.

Here’s what Sir Richard Branson has to say about Robert:
Robert Craven… will turn your business into a powerhouse by recovering some of the passion and nimbleness… to make your business more effective and more profitable… the business in question often needs a boost – a kick-start to greater success in the future.”

Not a bad little endorsement, that!

We’ll also be hearing from David Webster, Chief Executive of The Hanley Economic Building Society, who will be talking about his experiences of running, and actually growing, the 158-year-old building society through one of the most turbulent financial periods in history.

If that were not enough, we have some expert presentations from Matt Hubbard, on the power of film and why it should be a part of a business’ marketing strategy; Quinton Watton-Smith on search engine marketing, and why a business should embrace pay-per-click; and our dynamic duo Nick Evans and Sue Allport, who will cover the importance of good copy in your email and online marketing campaigns.

It will be a packed event once again, and promises to be another inspiring day! Head here for more info: http://www.staffsmarketingacademy.co.uk/

  • We have made our decision on our new apprentice! It was difficult as the standard was high – so difficult in fact that we will be taking on two apprentices, rather than one! We’re just in the process of passing on the good news, as we think it’s right they hear it first, but we’ll give you all the details next week. Exciting times for RSA though!
