OH WHAT A NIGHT!

I’ve not had a chance to post since the Young Enterprise Area Finals a couple of weeks ago, so thought I’d give you a little update 🙂

It was a really good evening, with a fantastic atmosphere in the room and awesome performances from our 10 companies (and Ollie Marland of course!).

After our closest competition ever, Steel Style from St Joseph’s College took the Company of the Year title, beating Bakery Buddies from Wolstanton High School by just half a point!

Congratulations team!

They will now go on to represent North Staffordshire at the Staffordshire County Finals, at the Wedgwood Museum on May 7th – and hopefully beyond!

We’ve never had a team from North Staffordshire go beyond the County Finals before – although we have been very close for the past couple of years – but hopefully we can do that this time.

Good luck to Steel Style from everyone on the North Staffordshire Area Board!

On behalf of the board, I’d like to thank all of our volunteers, sponsors and supporters from the North Staffordshire business community. The teams have been going from strength to strength over the past few years and that wouldn’t have happened without you!

And an honourable mention for the Wood U Believe It! team from Blackfriar’s Special School for your fantastic presentation! I’ve never seen any team get a standing ovation before and it was very well-deserved!

  1. Hello this is kinda of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG
editors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding experience so I wanted to get advice from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!
