#SAYSOMETHINGPOSITIVE #6

Today has been one of those days where good news is everywhere – in fact, we’ve struggled to pick our top three stories! Here is just some of our favourites from today:

PERSONAL TRAINER IN WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT FOR DOUGIE MAC

Craig Gilchrist will attempt to cycle for more than 268 hours to raise money for local charity Douglas Macmillan.

The personal trainer, from Bentilee, is looking for witnesses so that his attempt can be recorded for The Guinness World Book of Records.

If you have a spare four hours, why not give up your time for Craig and do something positive for the Dougie Mac?

THE PEOPLE OF NORTH STAFFS ARE A GENEROUS BUNCH…

Sticking with the charity theme, the Rotary Club of Wolstanton has also been raising money.

£550 has been donated to the Rock of Joy School in Uganda thanks to the club’s efforts.

Nice one guys!

KEN DODD FANS TO DESCEND ON STOKE FOR CAR AUCTION

Legendary comedian Ken Dodd’s car is being sold – here in Staffordshire of course!

Butters John Bee will auction off the 1975 Jaguar at Warner Street on Thursday.

Imagine all the one-liners that have been thought up in that car!

It’s not hard to find so many great local stories, why not take a look yourself?
