THE MONDAY MOOD-CHANGER!

Well it’s November and Christmas is fast approaching. We’re sure this will mean lots of positive stories and exciting events locally, and today is no exception!

BOOZERS BARE ALL FOR DOUGIE MAC

Local pub-goers are raising money for charity with a nude calendar.

The calendar, called ‘Firkin About’, features more than 20 pub regulars and staff at pubs across Staffordshire, and is expected to raise £12,000 for The Douglas Macmillan Hospice.

Cheeky!

NOMINATE COUNTY’S BEST BAKERY

We might be well known for oatcakes here in Staffordshire, but we sure do make a good cake too!

The Sentinel has compiled a list of the best local bakeries.

What do you think? Has your favourite made it onto the list?

ANTIQUES ROADSHOW PRESENTER RETURNS TO ‘HOME FROM HOME’

Oh, and then there’s that other thing we love too – pottery of course!

There was plenty of that this weekend when antiques expert Henry Sandon visited Stoke-on-Trent to meet and greet fans.

The Antiques Roadshow host is a big fan of our ceramics and is a regular visitor to our museums and factory shops.

Keep checking in with us for all the positive local stories!
