Vampires, Cinemas and Art! What more could you wish to #saysomethingpositive about?

Just because the weekend is over doesn’t mean the positive things are!

Did you do something fun and exciting? Tell us on twitter with the #saysomethingpositive

Tell us what you love about Stoke and North Staffs in this tinsy survey

Retired detective, John Pye, has picked up his pen to write a novel based on the death of a Polish man in 1972.

The death is the only one in the UK that has officially been attributed to a  vampire.

John was sent to deal with the incident and found the man surrounded by small bags of salt and crushed garlic.

Sue Law-Webb was one of the protagonists that helped save Stoke-on-Trent’s Civic Centre from closure.

The artist has painted 12 buildings from across the city and is hosting an exhibition to celebrate Stoke’s historic buildings.

You can see these images at Theartbay Gallery, Christchurch Street, Fenton.

Cineworld will be coming to Stoke-On-Trent in the new leisure complex.

Development is due to start in 2014 and finish in 2015.

Cineworld are the only cinema-chain that offer an UNLIMITED card, where members pay £15.90 per month to see as many films as many times as they wish.

This is great news for the local movie-buffs!

Will you use the new Cineworld? Tell us at and we’ll shout and support their new venture.
