#SAYSOMETHINGPOSITIVE: A TRIBUTE TO NORTH STAFFS CHARITY CHAMPIONS

We’ve been extremely impressed by the amount of people raising money in Staffordshire, so much so that today’s blog is dedicated to them.

FUNDRAISING FOR THE PHILLIPINES

Stoke-on-Trent’s Filipino community have been fundraising hard, and have managed to provide £150 each for ten families affected by Typhoon Haiyan.

The community has generated £9000 altogether since they started fundraising on 1st December.

FUNDRAISING FOR PHOEBE

Friends and family of five year-old Phoebe Moon, who is fighting leukemia, have been raising money to transform her home into a winter wonderland.

A fun day was held Meaford Field Nursery in Stone on Saturday.

FUNDRAISING FOR DESTINATION DREAMS

Staffordshire mother of two Amanda Williams has raised almost £30,000 for charity Caudwell Children.

The money will go towards their ‘Destination Dreams’ trip, where families go on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to America.

Feeling very proud of our kind, charitable people in Staffordshire!

If you know of a great fundraising story, why not tweet it using the hashtag #saysomethingpositive?
