FESTIVE FUNDRAISING IN NORTH STAFFS

Today we woke up to lots of great Christmassy fundraising and awareness-raising events. We’re feeling very proud of the people of Staffordshire and their unique ideas!

COMMUNITY CONCERT ‘LIGHTS UP’ BRITANNIA STADIUM

A memorial concert held by the Douglas Macmillan Hospice attracted thousands this weekend.

Light Up A Life, held at Britannia Stadium, was organised to help people remember their loved ones.

“FASCINATING”

Young church-goers have recreated Star Trek – The Beginning in their own film.

The 15-minute film was shown at St Paul’s church in Longton during their alternative Christmas service.

We admire their creativity!

CHRISTMAS WITH A TWIST

Who says monkeys, armadillos, meerkats and snakes aren’t Christmassy?

Certainly not the Staffordshire Exotics Society! They held the unique Christmas event at the Stoke Gardeners Retreat pub this weekend.

Can we get an invite next time?!
