PLENTY OF POSITIVITY THIS TUESDAY

Christmas is closing in, just 6 days now!

We’re excited – are you?

You can tweet us with your preparations @rsassoc with #saysomethingpositive.

SERVING OUR  SOLDIERS!

Wrights pies will be making lots of people’s Christmas this year.

The new production plant at Crewe will be hiring 110 new employees next summer.

The bakery will also be sending 200,000 mince pies to our troops that are currently serving in Afghanistan.

Way to go Wrights!

17th CENTURY TREASURE FOUND IN NEWCASTLE BRAMBLES

A rare mourning ring was discovered by Peter Amison in June 2010 when using a metal detector.

The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery are bidding to bring the ring home.

The beautiful ring will be a great follow-up to the popular Staffordshire Hoard Exhibition.

STUDENTS INSPIRED BY LOCAL HERITAGE

Art students from Newcastle-Under-Lyme College have created the ‘Contemporary Art Practice Collective Exhibition’ after working with Wedgwood to create a range of plates.

They started the project in September after a curriculum leader at the college was  inspired after a trip to the Wedgwood museum with her family.

The exhibition will be on show until January 15, 2014. It looks great guys!
