Halloween Safety Tips… and a ‘Thriller’ Party to celebrate Fenton Fun Factory’s new management

As I am sure you are all aware, next weekend is Halloween and many children will want to go out Trick or Treating.

Well, local business Wonderland Party have started a crusade to help parents keep children safe this Halloween, by issuing some basic safety tips to their website.

The tips include remembering that the clocks go back on October 31st, so it will be dark by the time children set out,

* Wear bright, or even fluorescent, clothing to help them stand out
* Take extra care crossing roads in darkness
* Adult supervision and sticking together is to be recommended
* Check treats before consuming
* Ensure costumes are flame-retardant
* Try and get a large group of children to go around together – safety in numbers

This is a very good way of generating PR because it is useful for families and, also, it helps to show that the business really does care about its clients – which it does.

They are giving a free Glow in the Dark wrist whistle to every child who buys a Halloween costume.

And Fenton’s Fun Factory has decided to celebrate new management by holding a Halloween Party, which is a great way to show people what the centre offers.

Tunstall-based dance company Studio One will be performing the Michael Jackson ‘Thriller’ Dance, which helps to demonstrate to parents the sort of thing that will be happening when the play centre starts holding its own street dance classes from November.

Other activities taking place that day include entertainment from Magic Chris – a local magician – and it really will bring all these local businesses together.

The party takes place on Friday 29th October between 5:30 and 8:30. For further information call 01782 698957 or e-mail info@fentonfunfactory.com.
